EVER AFTER UNSCRIPTED
Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a wedding comes with a lot of questions. Here are some of the ones we hear most often from couples looking for planning or coordination support in Sarasota and across Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Do I need a wedding planner or just a coordinator? That depends on where you are in the process and how much support you want. If you want guidance from the beginning with vendors, decisions, logistics, and overall planning direction, full-service planning is usually the better fit. If you have already done most of the planning and need someone to step in and carry the final details through the wedding day, coordination may be enough.
What is the difference between Month-Of Coordination and Day-Of Coordination? Month-Of Coordination includes more support before the wedding, giving us time to review the plans, refine logistics, organize final details, and prepare for execution. Day-Of Coordination is more focused on managing the wedding day itself so you do not have to. If you are unsure which one fits your wedding, we can talk through that during your consultation.
Do you work only with non-traditional weddings? No. We work with couples who want their wedding to feel intentional and personal. For some couples, that means breaking from tradition. For others, it means keeping certain traditions while making the day feel more aligned with who they are. We are here to support weddings that feel meaningful, not forced.
Do you offer wedding planning in Sarasota only? We are based in Sarasota and work with couples across Tampa, St. Pete, Fort Myers, and Florida’s Gulf Coast. If your wedding falls within our service area, we would love to hear more about it.
Do you help with vendor recommendations? Yes. Depending on the service you book, we can recommend trusted vendors whose work, communication style, and overall approach align with your priorities and wedding vision.
Can you help if I already started planning? Absolutely. Many couples come to us after they have already booked a venue, hired some vendors, or built part of the plan themselves. We can step in, assess where things stand, and help you move forward with more clarity and structure.
Do you plan elopements and micro-weddings? Yes. Smaller celebrations still deserve thoughtful planning, strong logistics, and an experience that feels complete. We work with couples planning intimate weddings, elopements, and micro-weddings that feel personal and well cared for.
How far in advance should I book a wedding planner? The earlier, the better — especially if you want full-service planning. That said, coordination services can still be incredibly helpful later in the process. Reach out as soon as you know you want support, and we can talk through availability and fit.
What happens during the consultation? The consultation is the first step. We talk through your wedding, where you are in the planning process, what kind of support you need, and what you are hoping the day feels like. It is a chance to get clarity and see whether we are the right fit for each other.
Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples and culturally diverse weddings? Yes. Ever After Unscripted supports couples with respect, care, and without judgment. We believe weddings should reflect the people at the center of them, and we approach each celebration with thoughtfulness and intention.
Can you help with wedding design too? Yes. Depending on the service, we can help shape the visual direction, guest experience, and overall feel of the wedding so the details work together in a way that feels cohesive and true to your vision.
How do I get started? Start by booking a consultation. We will talk through your wedding, your priorities, and the service that makes the most sense for where you are right now.
